• Tumescent Liposuction and Fat Transfer

  Many people eat right and exercise but still have a hard time getting rid of fat in specific areas. Tumescent liposuction removes that fat, and it’s safe and effective. It’s one of the most commonly performed cosmetic procedure in the country.

  Liposuction can be performed using only local anesthesia, eliminating the risks associated with general anesthesia. The tumescent approach benefits patients in other ways, including reducing blood loss, creating a lower risk of infection and allowing the surgeon to locate and correct areas that would otherwise go unnoticed (and would often require a second surgery).

• Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

  Abdominoplasty, commonly referred to as a tummy tuck, removes fat and skin around the stomach. During a tummy tuck, Dr. Bowden can repair weakened or separated muscles in the abdomen to create a smoother, more firm profile.

  Many of our patients want abdominoplasty because of the natural damage that pregnancy, aging, heredity and fluctuations in weight can cause. As with all other cosmetic surgery procedures, you should have realistic expectations.
